Implementation and sustainable operation
Implementation approach
All work involving children follows strict safeguarding standards, background checks and referral pathways. Programmes favour family-based care and community youth structures, and young people help design the activities meant for them.
Sustainable operation
Youth centres are run with local authorities or youth associations, and volunteer mentor networks are built locally. Activities are designed to be low cost and community-owned.
