Our development model brings planning, partners, finance and delivery together around a community's real needs.
Integrated, not isolated
Instead of delivering single, disconnected projects, AMAF designs programmes where infrastructure, services and livelihoods support one another. This is the idea behind our Sustainable Community Model.
Partnership-based delivery
AMAF coordinates; partners deliver. Public authorities own and lead; qualified engineers, contractors and service providers build and operate; financiers fund; communities participate in decisions and in looking after assets.
Coordinated financing
Projects may combine public budgets, development finance, grants, philanthropic support and private capital. For larger infrastructure, AMAF can work with partners on an EPC+F package that brings design, delivery and financing together.
Built to last
Every project includes a plan for operation and maintenance, with clear ownership, trained local staff and a funding model, followed by monitoring and evaluation.
