Our commitments
Safeguarding & Accountability
Everyone who comes into contact with AMAF's work should be safe, respected and able to raise concerns.
Our commitments
- Zero tolerance of sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment
- Safer recruitment, including background checks for roles involving children or vulnerable adults
- Codes of conduct for staff, volunteers, contractors and partners
- Safe, confidential and accessible reporting channels
- Survivor-centred response and referral to qualified services
- Do-no-harm and conflict-sensitive programme design
Accountability to communities
Communities take part in planning and monitoring projects. Each programme will have a feedback and complaints mechanism that is accessible to women, children, older people and people with disabilities, and AMAF will report on how feedback is used.
Raising a concern
To report a safeguarding concern, contact info@amfoundationtz.com with the subject line "Safeguarding", or use our complaints and feedback page. Concerns are treated confidentially and as a priority.
Partner with AMAF
