Southern Africa
AMAF aligns its programme concepts with SADC Vision 2050 and seeks partners for energy, water and housing programmes in the region.
Regional context
Southern Africa has well-developed regional energy and transport cooperation through SADC, alongside persistent inequality, recurring droughts and cyclones, and large off-grid rural populations. Priorities include renewable energy and storage, water security, disaster recovery and skills for a changing economy.
