Implementation and sustainable operation

Implementation approach

School projects are designed with education authorities and school communities to meet national standards and staffing plans. Facilities include water, sanitation and power from the outset, and investment in buildings is paired with teacher development and learning materials.

Sustainable operation

Schools remain within the public or recognised community system. Maintenance responsibilities and budgets are agreed in advance, and digital equipment is supported by local technical capacity and durable, low-power hardware.
